It is located in the Inland Empire region of Southern California, but is able to able to virtually service clients throughout the state. The goal of the firm is to provide high quality, comprehensive, personalized financial planning.

Scott Gutman’s Story

I, Scott Gutman, the founder and owner of Gutman Financial Planning grew up in the Inland Empire. Like most people, my financial journey started at home. I was blessed to grow up with parents who consistently demonstrated what good financial stewardship looked like. Through their example, I learned to love personal finance. From the beginning, it’s been an area of passion.

At the time, I never would have guessed that my life would eventually lead to a career giving financial advice. Instead, I went the way of technology, getting a Batchelor’s Degree in Data Management and Analytics and working IT at a local school district. I quickly learned how desperate the professionals around me were for trustworthy financial advice. So I asked myself, “What’s stopping me from doing that professionally?” Out of that question came Gutman Financial Planning.

I now get the absolute honor of applying my combined passions of personal finance and serving people in a real and concrete way.
